full time Full-time - Computer Graphics Software Developer

Exocortex seeks a software developer to contribute to a moderately-sized leading edge computer graphics suite of products. The expected tasks will include adding enhancements to both a fluid simulator and a 3D rendering component. There will be significant opportunities for skill development in areas related to modern computer graphics techniques and tools.
No prior knowledge of fluid simulation techniques is required.

Skill Set

Required skills:

· C++.
· Computer graphics-related development experience.
· Familiarity with either 3DS Max, Maya, Softimage, Blender, Houdini or Cinema3D.

Non-essential, but valuable:

· 3D game programming development experience.
· GPGPU programming (OpenCL or CUDA.)
· C#, JavaScript, MELscript or Python.

Office Location

Sharing office space with LightSpeed Studios Ltd (a winner of CBC's Dragon's Den television show) in the Kanata Town Center mall located at 150 Katimavik Road in Kanata. Location is within 100 meters from an OC Transpo station for bus routes #97, #118 and #161. There is free and ample parking for those who drive to work.
