Lead to Win Webmaster
at Lead to Win in Ottawa
Lead to Win is looking for a volunteer webmaster!
Being the webmaster of such a high profile and high traffic site like this would certainly look good on your resume, but we'd like to think you'd also be applying so you can contribute to Lead to Win.
You will be responsible for implementing the ongoing development of Lead to Win's websites. You will also be responsible for performing day-to-day site maintenance, setting standards for design, performing navigation and browser compatibility testing, and performing quality-control for third party content.
This particular website is continually growing.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assuming overall management of the users that are given access to this site.
- Working closely with new Lead to Win organizations to supply 'space' on the site as the need arises.
- Liaising with the Lead to Win organizing committee to establish the website roadmap
- Adding content provided by other members of the Lead to Win team, e.g. news article links, training materials
- Overseeing the approval of comments to blog and community submitted content.
- Working on template adjustments that may be needed to accommodate changes to the site.
- You will be responsible for documenting best-practices and supporting the re-use of the website for other communities who plan to re-use Lead to Win materials.
You will need:
- The ability to work well together and get along with others.
- To be able to commit regular time each week to manage the site.
- To be committed to the success of Lead to Win, and want to be a sharer in that.
- Experience with Joomla CMS required
- Experience with phpList, LimeSurvey, Wordpress, Jobberbase, DokuWiki an asset
- Experience with Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics an asset
- A good grasp of English.
